It's impossible to hide the best parts of one's nature. After a year of walking through hell and another three of battling emergent Digimon in the shadows, Eloise has tried to step back and focus on her own life and her university degree, but nevertheless she still saw this ragtag group of children following in her footsteps, opened her arms wide and declared "You are safe, you have aid and you are mine now and you are precious." Such is her nature; selfless, practical, stubborn and never one to hold a helping hand at bay.
Not that she isn't trying hard to take care of herself. Much like one's strengths, scars and vices also don't fade easily, and she still has a tendency to step in more often than she wants to; out of worry for the future, or out of a need to atone for her own mistakes. Kai is there to stand by her side and be the shoulder she needs when they become overwhelming, although she sometimes feels that she's the one dragging him back into the fray as well. But, regardless whether an active fighter or a a kind supporter from the sidelines, Eloise will always stand by the tamers and be there to help each and every one in their hour of need.
