The cutting edge of a spear, the warm nobility of the heart. To guard, to protect, to serve a lord and give your life for their cause. Thus speaks Syngnamon; honourable and just, and a willing servant to Inez in all endeavours and all challenges, may fate strike him down if he wanders or ever fails her. Dramatic, maybe, but earnest and true, and Syngnamon stands by his pledge to protect his tamer and be her knight. A grand cause, particularly for somebody who only stands two feet off the ground.
His conviction may be over-the-top bordering on dorky, but really his dedication and chivalrous nature really is nothing to be sniffed at. Syngnamon is true to his word and honest in his feelings, and goes out of his way to be the best guardian he can be. This can cause him to be more than a little awkward around others; he is overly formal and frequently confused by the more lax relationships some of his peers have with their own tamers. And while he tries his best to provide for Inez he is very aware of a slight disconnect between them; nothing hostile, but a hesitation to open up completely to him. It is not his place to pry, of course, but as a knight, that is his failing and his alone, although how he can fix it, he doesn't yet know.
There may be some friction to iron out, and there are sure to be slip-ups and failures along the way, but Syngnamon has utmost faith in the tamers and Inez in particular, and he will stay by her side and support her in everything she does. He may be small, and he may be frequently flapping along clumsily, far out of his element, but truly there are few Digimon with greater bravery or virtue than him, and he will hold onto that until the end of time.
