One would never guess, looking at the sweet, mildly shy young woman going about her daily life, that she has battled with monsters and spirits and through endless wars. And that is deliberate, as Grace would very much like to keep it that way. Soft-spoken and kind, if a little sarcastic, Grace tries her utmost to keep her life as a tamer out of sight and under control, not just to protect Vulpimon and the others from prying eyes, but also for the sake of her own sanity.
This is not an easy task, and Grace often finds herself pushing far too hard to keep a sense of control; over her life, her friends, and her family. While she tries to place her trust in the people around her, old habits die hard, and while not reckless by any means she is often the first to leap into action in a chaotic bid to calm things down. As much as she might like to project that This Is Fine, nonetheless she is easily stressed, often anxious, and still grappling with deep-seated inadequacies and guilt over the things she's lived through. And being the eldest experienced tamer still active and having the newcomers asking her to take leadership really doesn't do much to help.
Although she struggles to juggle her lives and feelings, the one thing she keeps clear in her mind is a sense of responsibility, and a need to do right by the people she loves. It may be increasingly difficult, and she may find herself questioning everything that has led her to this, but when the time comes to stand in the warzone again for the sake of the world, she will always be one of the first people to take that step.
